Newsletter, services from MaiPoet

This website uses the services of MailPoet to send newsletters. The provider is Wysija SARL, based in France at 6 rue Dieudé, 13006, Marseille, France.

MailPoet is a service that allows you to organise and analyse the sending of newsletters. If you enter data for the purpose of receiving the newsletter (e.g. email address), this data is stored on MailPoet’s servers in France.

MailPoet helps us to analyse our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent with MailPoet, a file contained in the email (a so-called web beacon) connects to the MailPoet servers. This enables us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked on, if any. Various technical information is also recorded (e.g. time of opening, your IP address, the browser you are using). We cannot assign this information to you personally, but only evaluate it, for example to optimize the newsletter for viewing on mobile devices in order to improve your user experience.

If you do not wish to receive analysis from MailPoet, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. You will find a corresponding link in the footer of every newsletter message. Of course you can also unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time on our website.

Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of MailPoet after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the members‘ area) remain unaffected by this.

Further information on the MailPoet data protection regulations can be found at: https://www.mailpoet.com/terms-and-conditions/.
